Lights of the Ozarks

Northwest Arkansas' most cherished holiday lights tradition returns as Lights of the Ozarks Powered by SWEPCO illuminates Fayetteville's Historic Downtown Square beginning Friday, November 20. Experience the magic of the season as hundreds of thousands of dazzling lights transform the square into a festive holiday destination.

Lighting Ceremony

Kick off the holiday season at the 33rd Annual Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 20, at 6 p.m. Following the official countdown and lighting ceremony, enjoy an evening of live entertainment, holiday performances, and family-friendly festivities as the square comes to life.

Lights of the Ozarks Parade

The 2026 Lights of the Ozarks Parade will take place on Thursday, December 3, at 6:30 p.m.

The parade route begins on East Street near the Graduate Hotel, travels around the Historic Downtown Square, continues up Block Avenue, and concludes at the intersection of Block Avenue and Spring Street.

Snack and beverage vendors will be located on the north side of the Historic Downtown Square from 5–9 p.m., making it easy to enjoy festive treats before and during the parade.

Celebrate the Season

Lights of the Ozarks is a community collaboration between Experience Fayetteville, Downtown Fayetteville, and the City of Fayetteville.

Whether you're attending the lighting ceremony, watching the parade, or simply strolling beneath the sparkling lights, Lights of the Ozarks is a beloved Fayetteville tradition that brings the community together to celebrate the holiday season.

In addition to Light Night and the Lights of the Ozarks Parade, more than five additional events are held throughout the six-week light festival, creating a vibrant holiday season in the heart of downtown Fayetteville.
